It’s time to announce the March fitness challenge for R-17! Seriously, where has the year gone? Anyway, we’re continuing our “Hike R-17” theme, and this month we’re going to visit Utah.

March Weeks and Turn-In Dates:
Week 1: March 1 to 3 (turn in on the 4th)
Week 2: March 4 to 10 (turn in on the 11th)
Week 3: March 11 to 17 (turn in on the 18th)
Week 4: March 18 to 24 (turn in on the 25th)
Week 5: March 25 to 31 (turn in on April 1)

Milestones:
Start – Canyon Point, Utah
Meadow Canyon – 10 miles (150 active minutes)
Dairy Hollow – 20 miles (300 active minutes)
Ingram Hollow – 30 miles (450 active minutes)
Pines Rest Area – 40 miles (600 active minutes)
S Washboard FLT Rd – 50 miles (750 active minutes)
Birch Creek – 60 miles (900 active minutes)
Center Creek – 70 miles (1050 active minutes)
Lost Spring Draw – 80 miles (1200 active minutes)
Hare Lake – 90 miles (1350 active minutes)
Smooth Knoll Rd – 100 miles (1500 active minutes)
Fremont River – 110 miles (1650 active minutes)
Finish – Capitol Reef National Park – 120 miles (1800 active minutes)
